About Growing Little Minds Co.
Hello — I’m so glad you’re here 🤍
Growing Little Minds Co began somewhere between snack negotiations, shoes mysteriously ending up on the wrong feet, and the realisation that toddlers are not tiny chaos machines sent to test our patience (even if it occasionally feels that way).
Most of the time, they are simply trying to understand the world around them.
I’m a parent and hold a Master’s degree in Education, and over time I found myself drawn to the Montessori approach — not as a strict parenting method, but as a gentler way of seeing children. Instead of constantly asking, “How do I stop this behaviour?” I became more interested in asking, “What is my child trying to learn right now?”
Alongside real-life parenting experience, I spend a lot of time reading research around child development, emotional regulation, routines, independence, behaviour, and early learning. But this space is not about perfect parenting, rigid rules, or turning family life into a psychology textbook.
It’s about taking ideas that genuinely help and making them feel realistic for everyday life.
Here you’ll find practical ideas for living with toddlers in a calmer, more connected way — creating spaces they can use independently, navigating big emotions without turning every moment into a power struggle, and finding small ways to make daily routines feel easier for everyone involved.
I share:
- Montessori-inspired home setups
- toddler behaviour understanding
- simple activities that build real-life skills
- gentle parenting in real situations (not ideal ones)
- ways to reduce daily stress and power struggles
- evidence-informed ideas that still feel practical at 6pm on very little sleep.
Everything here is written for real families, real homes, and real energy levels.
No pressure.
No perfection.
No aesthetic playroom required.
Just thoughtful, practical support that helps parenting feel a little calmer over time.
Because when we begin to understand the world from toddler height, parenting starts to feel less like constant correction…
and more like guidance.
