As an outdoorsy family, this was the carrier that suited us best. We used it extensively for long walks, travel and family hikes, and as our daughter grew, we moved from inward-facing to outward-facing and eventually back carrying.

The Woven has less stretch and feels a little more structured and substantial, while still being soft against baby. So we’d choose Jersey for maximum newborn softness, or Woven if you prefer a slightly more supportive, structured feel.
The trade-off is longevity: the Mini is deliberately designed for the newborn stage rather than years of babywearing. But for those first months — particularly when softness, comfort and simplicity matter most — that more specialised design is part of its appeal.

Choosing between the Ergobaby Omni Breeze and the BabyBjörn Harmony wasn’t easy. Both are exceptionally comfortable, thoughtfully designed and built to grow with your baby.
For us, it ultimately came down to personal preference. We slightly preferred the feel of the SoftFlex™ mesh, and on longer walks and hikes the Omni Breeze suited our family just a little better.
That said, if the BabyBjörn Harmony feels more comfortable on your body, we’d happily recommend it instead. Baby carriers are a bit like walking boots—the best one is the one that feels right on you.
